In 2022 we stepped into the wild and wonderful world of artificial intelligence with Once Upon A.I. - a short film we created using 13 different generative AI models, based on a script written by best-selling author Yuval Noah Harari.

The project was developed as part of Harari’s keynote talk at the Love Tomorrow conference 2022 (a future-focused annual event by the creators of the Love Tomorrow festival). Every image in the film is AI generated, and much of the animation was also done using artificial intelligence algorithms. For the final touch, we combined a variety of human and AI voices to create a truly digital audiovisual experience.

‘Once Upon A.I.’ won a FWA in 2022 and was shortlisted for a Creative Belgium Award. Check out the finished product on youtube.
